Control the Heart Fountain of Scipio by controlling the board and all challengers. Had a ball last year so will do it again. :) You choose the monster, I will choose the class (suggestions welcome). I hope to add an element of terrain control and not straight brute force, but brute force is a lot of fun. Round robin or swiss tournament depending on numbers.

How to Get Your Fiction Published Seminar
Hemlock Room

Event organized by Paizo Publishing, LLC

Seminar. Maximum 150 attendees. Current total: 36.
Speaker: James Sutter, Christopher Carey

So you've written a story or two, and now you're looking to start selling your work. Where do you find publishers, and how do you approach them? What aspects of your writing will intrigue an editor, and which ones will get you rejected immediately? How important is networking, or attending conventions? How do you get a gig writing for a shared world like Pathfinder? What the heck is "standard manuscript format," and why does it matter?

This is the seminar to answer all these questions and more. While Paizo editors and authors Christopher Paul Carey and James L. Sutter will be happy to answer questions about the mechanics of writing and finding inspiration, this seminar is intended to help you get published and making the leap from amateur to professional. Whether you're just starting out or have a few professional sales under your belt, all levels of experience are welcome, and the conversation will go wherever you take it, so come armed with questions!

Green Blood on a Black Rock 4711
Maple Room

RPG (Pathfinder). Maximum 8 attendees. Current total: 8.
Game Master: Adam Daigle

No monster-fighting tournament is more barbaric and senseless than the annual Green Blood on a Black Rock. You play a dastardly Free Captain ready to bet his hull full of captured goods that your enslaved beastie can shred all comers. Come to this event with a cool pirate name and shrewdly draft from a list of available critters. Then play your beasts in a bracketed, one-on-one, anything-goes death match. Bring your luckiest die, 'cause there will be a lot of green blood on everybody’s favorite black rock. The captain whose monster survives to the end gets the honor of having one of the most famous monsters of the Sodden lands, the monster to win Green Blood on a Black Rock for 4711 A.R.!

Notes

Age rating: 13+. Game complexity: Normal. Experience required: Some.

"No characters required – just bring lots of energy and, if handy, perhaps a Bestiary. You may wish to read up on the Sodden Lands in the Inner Sea World Guide for flavor. Note this is an elimination game and it won’t fill the time slot for everybody. Some people are either going to wind up spectators or have time to do other things. Eight cagey free-captains are required to run this event, but any and all spectators are encouraged to attend as the bookies will be taking side bets on the contenders.
