My only complaint is that we only see the top deck of ships that would have internal cargo holds.

I bought these for use with a Spelljammer-style game, and perhaps a pirate-themed game in the future, and for other sea voyages or ocean adventures.

These are a wonderful companion for the fantastic ship Flip Mat, which does show all decks of a single sailing ship, and should make a fantastic centerpiece for any campaign involving ships; the flip-side of the Flip Mat is a blank ocean grid, a different shade of blue from the background of these ships and boats, but that can be forgiven.

I am a big fan of Paizo maps both cards and flip mats. These ships will come in handy for sessions on and by the sea.

Only down side is the card stock used. I feel that the quality has lessen over time. After just opening the plastic off this bunch of maps, the card started to wrap, just like cheap polaroid photographs. Make sure you store this in plastic and in a flat position. This should extend the life of the product.

My FLGS just ordered this set in for me, and I'm thrilled. I've been pleased with all the map packs I've bought, but this one really provides a nice selection of vessels for my 50 Fathoms campaign, as well as potential for 7th Sea and other sea-borne adventures.

For another reviewer, I've always mounted the 'complete' cards on matboard from my local framing shop, and it works great. This will be the first time I mount something as long as the 4-panel ships, but I don't expect any problems.

Yet again paizo produce a set of very useful, beautifully presented and reasonable priced maps. Lets face it you get SEVEN beautiful boats for 12.99 - Sure the lighter card stock means they have the tendancy to slide around in use but all you need is a little tape on the back, or a little easy to remove blue tac under them and you won't ever need to worry about that slippin' and slidin' again.

I know the Gamemastery Map Packs are gorgeous, and certainly useful, but I honestly haven't picked up many, because, well, I just don't like how they can slide around and warp. But I have finally seen the light, this is a splendid assortment of vessels and definitely worth picking up another. As wonderful as the ships are, I really love the simple wooden raft, but again they are all fantastic. I've vowed to mount them on some rigid cardback I have, as well as the numerous other sets that interest me, past and future.

Very glad paizo made these, my crew have been nagging for more navel combat in games for ages! :)
