These are great standard size trading cards for FRP Gear. The art is great and there is a pretty good variety of 'stuff'.
My only desire would be to have the standard weight and price on each.
There are still a few items missing.
Hey guys how about 3x3 card holders that are labeled "Mount". You can slip 1 card in on your mount in the top slot. Has its HP ect. right there. Then if you loose your horse you know exactly what you have lost.
These cards are absolutely awesome. We are using them at the game table all the time, since it reinforces the "fun" aspect of the game.
We already had many magical items to play with through the other sets, but this one, featuring the most common "mundane" items the PCs may own, was obviously missing. Now we have it!
A great plus to this card set is that it comes complete, and thus isn't random at all. That's awesome.
What's funny is a friend and I thought up the idea of creating cards for a character's items a while ago, and here they are. Adventurer's Gear is the best of them yet, but we need a card list in numerical order from 1-54 instead of jumbled.
I love these cards! By far, this is the best deck yet!! I have purchased all the previous packs with mixed opinions on their value/adaptability. No problems with this pack! The adaptability/versatility of the cards in this particular deck is unparalleled since the items included are what "every" player character has (or will have over the course of a campaign). There are very few cards that weren't put to immediate use in my game. It's especially nice to be able to neatly track rations, torches, and other constantly replenished items on a beautifully illustrated card. The cards for spellbook, thieves tools, etc. are great for keeping track of where (or on whose person) specific items are at any given moment. My players now cringe when an in-game "dropped item" moment happens or their carried items are specifically targeted by spell/damage. I've bought two (these packs sorta demand one for each player) and am anxiously rolling pennies to buy more.
My entire gaming group was given a set each of these cards by our DM. That's four sets. We have used the other cards but I am so excited about using these "mundane" cards. This is the gear I hate writing down, so now I have a card for nearly everything. Thank you for selling them as a set and not as packs. I plan to buy many more sets if there are presented this way.
The cards arrived today, and I love them. After purchasing lots of the packs of the others, I was just as excited to get these "mundane" items as I was the magical items. I look forward to using them in my campaign!
Also happy to see that Dragon's Trove is out as a non-randomized deck. Will purchase that next...
