Issue 7 of Star Wars Gamer takes place far from the bright center of the universe, in the galaxy's wildest frontiers.

Elaine Cunningham's short story "Red Sky, Blue Flame" explores the ranks of the steely Chiss through the eyes of Jag Fel, son of the infamous Baron Fel.

Recreate fierce dogfights between New Republic vessels and the bizarre organic fighter-craft of the Yuuzhan Vong in a new set of Silent Death rules for starship combat.

In other starship-related features, the personal vessels of the notorious bounty hunters from The Empire Strikes Back are given the full-stat treatment. Find out what Dengar has under the Punishing One's hood, or what makes Bossk's Hound's Tooth tick.

This issue also features a fully fleshed out campaign environment, Bartyn's Landing. The seafaring fringe town is explored in-depth, and detailed in a poster-sized foldout map.

Card players get the latest deck-building tips, featuring a Vader theme deck for the Jedi Knights Trading Card Game and a Rebel strike team deck using the Tatooine expansion for the Star Wars Customizable Card Game.

LucasArts unveils new concept art for the Tales of the Jedi-era computer role-playing game Knights of the Old Republic, and goes behind the scenes of Star Wars Rogue Leader: Rogue Squadron II and the Xbox Star Wars Obi-Wan game.
