Meh...

It's not amazing. The art looks nice, I'll give it that. The scene depicted isn't that big of a deal for me though.

The material it comes on works, but won't impress you. (Something heavier and thicker would have impressed me, if you bump this it will move around on you.) Maybe you could buy two and glue one inside the other?

If you fold it up for storage, you will need to flatten it out again before each session in order to use it.

The tables presented inside are convenient, especially to newer DM's. It's nice not having to look in the book to see that the DC to splice two ropes together is 15. But... they could've put more useful information inside, used the space better, and the filler depicting minis is an utter waste.

In case it influences your choice to buy it, it comes with tables for the following on the first two panels. Essentially, every table in the skill chapter of the PHB and a few others.
-Armour Class Modifiers (PH Page 151)
-Skills (Can be used Untrained? Armour Check Penalty? Provokes AoO?)
-Climb DC's
-Concentration Check DC's
-Diplomacy
-Balance DC's
-Bluff DC's
-Disable Device DC's
-Use Rope
-Disguise DC's
-Attack Roll Modifiers (PH Page 151)
-Turning Undead
-Perform
-Ride
-Search
-Spot
-Swim

So, with all this 'Meh', why should you get this screen? One question: Do you have another D20 3.5 screen already? If the answer is no, then buy it. For $1, who cares if it's 'Meh' in al sorts of areas, it's only a dollar! <_< The insanely low price brings this one up to three stars.

Sadly, even though the item wasn't back ordered, it took 40 days to get to me. I emailed after a month to find out what the problem was, and they were having difficulty getting 2 items on my 7 items order to into the warehouse to ship. Support was very polite and split my order so that the 5 items they'd had for the last month could be processed right away. The items they were having trouble with weren't listed ad backordered either.

The free giveaway that couldn't

The WAR art is great. The contents are not particlarly well organised. I bought a few of these, and I find them not as useful as I had hoped. The excellent SORD has spoiled me. I look at this as a wasted investment. The other criticism I have of this product is that it is shockingly flimsy. It has no heft, and does not stay put, It falls over without provocation. If you have seen the excellent screens put out by White Wolf, made of thick cardboard, with well organised charts and tables, you will be far less likely to give this featherweight screen a second glance. To add insult to injury, the screen has pictures of D&D minis as space fillers. There is no excuse for this, as many critical tables are not present. 2 1/2 of the four panels are given over to skills. Only two tables are useful in combat. One is the Armour class modifiers table from page 151 of the PHB. The other is buried between the use rope and disable device DCs. It is the Attack roll modifier table from the same page. IF you want a screen, get SORD, and clip the pages to a storyteller screen. This screen does not have the conditions, weapon tables, armour tables, level progression chart, or pretty much anything except the tables from the skill chapter. It was good as a free gift with Dragon. That is all it is.

Get one!

A DM screen featuring beautiful artwork by Wayne Reynolds for $1? What more could you ask for?
Well, a landscape format would be even better, but for this price (or even the original $3) it's nevertheless a steal!

Magnific

I was looking anywhere for these Master's Sreens. Seems like there are no where to be found. That is until i visited Paizo and placed an order online. I was also extremely happy to see them so cheap i ordered one right ahead. Good deal for the price.

A real must have

The 3.5 DM screen has been only available through Dragon Magazine, but it's an invaluable aid at the game table, containing all the tables the DM needs for quick reference and providing cover for DM notes and dice rolls.
Now at $1 it's a really must have!

Everyone should have one...

...and at a dollar, everyone can! Likely being cleared out in anticipation of the 4th Edition travesty, these screens contain quick-and-dirty charts that can benefit any player - especially someone new to the game. Get some while you still can, and get your friends hooked on 3.5! Just say no to 4th Edition!
