I must say that now 4.0 allows these guys to be a playable race, and that the character minotaur is medium size, this guy is not too bad to have around. And with a little repaint and some touch ups the colors stand out real well...and with the facial expression..well lets just say that if anyone that was "mentally deficient" had horns like that and that big of a sword..well then I am out of his way and giving him what ever he wants. This guy makes for a great minotaur PC or NPC.
I don't collect/trade miniatures but I do use them for roleplaying. This is one of my least favorite pieces and one I'm definitely sorry I wasted good money one. The construction is solid and scaled appropriately (for being "young") and the weapon is kinda cool (a nice change from the standard great axe) but that's about all the kind words I can summon for this piece. The coloring is just nasty and what's up with his facial expression? Is that "D'oh!" or what? Rather than intimidating, he comes off more like mentally deficient. The smaller size that sets him apart from standard minotaurs also makes his usefulness about zero in anything but the narrowest niche. I don't know what else to say except don't waste your time on this one. He brings nothing to the table.
