So much more immersive than conventional "pen & paper" recording of your hard earned loot, Campaign Coins creates more opportunities for creative roleplaying as you actually hand over cash at your local tavern, bribe a town guard to look the other way or pay passage to the next exotic port!

Campaign Coins offers a high-quality, "real-feel" fantasy game monetary system with actual metal coins representing the various metals and denominations commonly found in popular gaming systems. With numerous coins representing larger amounts including limited edition collectors' coins, it's easy to replicate even larger amounts of loot such as a dragon's hoard.

Game Masters, reward your players with cold, hard gold after an epic battle or the plundering of a long lost tomb. Players, equip yourself with a belt pouch and guard your precious coin.

Each box contains 120 detailed coins depicting four metal types in 1, 10, 100, and 1000 denominations and 1 random 500 denomination collectable coin.

    Coin breakdown in each box:
  • "copper" finish: 10x1, 10x10, 5x100, 5x1000
  • "silver" finish: 10x1, 10x10, 5x100, 5x1000
  • "gold" finish: 10x1, 10x10, 5x100, 5x1000
  • "platinum" finish: 10x1, 10x10, 5x100, 5x1000
  • ...plus one random-finish 500

You get all these—121 coins—in one box!

One of the best game props ever

I've purchased 4 starter sets and a bunch of the extra packs for my group of four players. They are a wonderful aid that makes the players appreciate the coinage they receive. I no longer tell them how much they get from an encounter...instead, I hand them a bag filled with the coins. I suggest that the DM get a bunch of small zip lock baggies and put the coins for each encounter in a seperate bag before the session. That way, there is no wasted time while the DM searches through his coins for the right denomination. Excellent product and the highest quality. Truly a wonderful addition to any game of Pathfinder....now if they only made gems...

Great Prop

These are a really fun game prop. Some tips for people looking to get these: be prepared to get two starters. They are a lot more cost-efficient than buying little packs (though supplementing with the small packs of ones you'd like isn't a bad idea) and it's hard to support a group of players with just one set. Also works great if you have a small dice bag for each player to keep theirs in. My players each keep their dice/coins/minis/item cards in colored felt pouches. The coins themselves are awesome quality. Only 4-stars because of the price really.

Definately worth it.

Get two. seriously. I bought these and I loved them so much I got a second pack. and then a pack of 10 of each of the new denominations. I keep them in a velvet bag, and when you toss the bag around it makes the best fantasy sound ever. the jingle of money. beautiful detail, makes for an amazing prop, definately 5 of 5

Good money!

A wonderful product, very useful at the gaming table, a conversation piece.
One tip: If you're ordering from Europe, do NOT choose regular mail-delivery, it will take ages (way more than the 36 business days they predict). I ordered from The Netherlands, waited over 45 business days AND had to pay an extra €25,- on delivery!

Great Product that brings a "twinkle" to players eyes....

This is a great addition to your game table. Players get a "twinkle" to their eye when they get their treasure.

It is fun to give out actual amount of treasure to the players. Plus it is an easy way to keep track of ones own treasure amount.

Buy something give the GM the money. No forgetting to mark off the money, no accidentally marking it off twice so it saves both ways.

These are good.

Good worksmanship. Satisfying heft. Note that the "1" coins are about the size and heft of pennies (Brit, American, Canadian), so "1gp" isn't real big. The tens are about nickel-sized, and the hundreds somewhat larger than a quarter; the really fun ones -- 500s and 1000s -- are sizeable. A fine thing for poker games, Three Dragon Ante, LARPing, and confusing salesman at RenFaire. Note that some don't stack very well, due to the serious bas-reliefs on some of the coins, but the art is VERY pretty. If you want metal fantasy coins, these will not disappoint.

Awesome

These are brilliant! The quality is very good, although the metal is a little bit lighter than I expected (they feel like an aluminum or 'pot metal'). The finish is excellent. It's very easy to tell the difference between copper/gold and silver/platinum, and they all look good. The shapes of the coins are also quite different from finish to finish and denomination to denomination, while maintaining a similar look and feel for all coins of the same finish (all gold coins have a maze-like pattern on the back, etc). The denominations in this pack would make it hard to do exact change for multiple players, so I ordered some fives and fifties as well, which should help quit a bit. I wish we could get five-hundred coins, too.

Very neat coins!

I bought these out of curiosity thinking I might be able to use them with card games such as Inn Fighting and Three Dragon Ante which the kids, nine and eleven love.

I was pleased with the design, heft, and variety of coins. I'm ordering a second set.

Excellent workmanship and design

The workmanship on the coins is excellent and, since they're made of metal, they clink very satisfyingly when dropped in a pile or tossed in a pouch. The detail imprinted in the coins themselves is amazing and helps to immediately differentiate the coins just as much as the color.

I've really gotten a kick out of using these in a session. Once the money hit the table, everything stopped as the players checked out the various coins.

They're meant as a shorthand for the coin your character has, and, frankly, actually having 5000+ coins would be a hassle that's neatly avoided by using a single coins as stand-ins. Yes, 100 cp = 10 sp = 1 gp, but if your character is actually carrying around 100 cp, the 100 cp coin will represent that.

I can't recommend them highly enough. These coins are an excellent addition to the table.

Nice Product But Not Very Useful

I also bought these coins at Gen Con. Although nice coins with a realistic heft and feel, in practice, they aren't very useful. The denominations and the assortment thereof were not very well thought out. We have consistently had trouble "making change" among the DM and PCs. To solve this problem, I think you would need one box per PC, or else the company needs to re-think their standard assortment. Plus, too many of the coins are redundant (i.e. 1000cp is 100sp is 10gp is 1pp... why bother?).
