All the flip maps are great but this is one of the better ones. The pictures are pretty representative but the resolution and quality on the finished product is great. Forst encounters are so common this is probably the most frequently used map I have.

A true life saver to a group who's GM has the artistic talent of Pregnant Bison wearing a splint on its writing hoof.... It saves time and actually allows us to have a forest scene instead of a bunch or Y's for tree trunks...yes I know it should be X's but see first comment

This is a massive map, great for large scale confrontations with multiple foes that really gives the PCs a chance to utilize their movement. It's also absolutely gorgeous.

My only critique is that the creases from folding take a bit of work (i.e. laying books on top of) to keep it flush with the table and not bending at weird angles.

This being my first flip map I can definitely see purchasing others (in fact,I purchased the keep too). Great product! :)

Received my copy of this map the other day and have already put it to good use! The usefulness of this mat/map is uncanny, for when I broke it out for the first time, about 100 (probably more) different encounters went through my mind! An excellent flip-mat, one which will get tons of use in my games to come!

The tree effects are a real table-brightener. Player's eyes light up with glee and it looks great with miniatures on it. I would have prefered if they left off specific items like the druid shrine and campsite. because now when I whip this out, they're always there. Otherwise an outstanding product.

Platinum (aka 'WOOHOO!') aspect: Usability. The Flip-side of this is actually the best of all the Flip-Mats, and its even better than its own 'A side.' Yes, its the old 'going through the forest' deal. But it happens in numerous adventures, and this side of the mat makes it super easy to show. And with no changes.

Gold (aka 'Why You Buy') aspect: Instant full-color setup. This kicks the crap out of drawing it out yourself onto a pad of paper.

Electrum (aka 'Cool But Weird') aspect: No apparent way to get inside the hollow tree. But maybe that's the adventure.

Silver (aka 'The Eh') aspect: The 'pond' is actually more of a creek. Should be a few squares wider and longer. By all means, give us water, but bigger than a PC can jump across.

Copper (aka 'Waste of Space'} aspect: The so-called 'druid shrine.' Its basically only a stone bench and chairs. The 'spooky cave' is pretty damn huge too.

Gem Idea: Adjust the entryway on the ‘A-side’ to match the forest path (it’s 10’ wider) so that if you had 2 of these flip-mats they could really connect by matching right up.

This flip-mat is the best one Paizo has done. It is not a blank grid on the back side but has a detailed map on both sides. I am very happy with this product. I wish that I had it a couple of weeks ago when we had a random encounter with a Flame Drake on the way to Magnimar for the second half of the Skinsaw Murders.

Great job...

Very portable and convenient, but a touch flimsy. This flip-mat in particular is one of the better ones...the "path through the forest" is so common in D&D, and this is a more generic, prettier take on it that the Forest Path flip-mat. This would probably be the second flip mat I picked up after the dungeon one.

At this point, I have a half dozen of these things, but I still pick them up selectively. If that isn't an endorsement, I don't know what is. I can't see a reason not to own at least a few.
