I am just as excited in writing my review as I was when I ordered and received this item 6+ months. This is a great valued item that contains excellent high quality products. The materials used to make the items and the housing box itself is top class. The module supplied is of a high standard and great for the beginning of a campaign or a beginning DM.

In giving a glowing report, I am unable to give it 5 out of 5 stars as there are a few issues that detract from the value. The limit edition factor also attracts me as I am a collector as much as a player/DM. I would like to give it 4.5 stars but I am only able to give a whole number rating and in my mind 5 stars is perfect. This item is not perfect.

The major issue I have with this item is the size of the the "Treasure Chest" box. It is deep enough to hold all the materials but the Gamemastery module is not able to be laid flat in the box as the box is not wide enough. I was planning on using the box to store my Gamemastery modules in but this is not an option and a disappointment for me.

Minor issues are some of the contents of the box. I would have loved the Gamemastery Campaign Book to be replaced with the Gamemastery Combat Pad as the materials are great to use to start a campaign but it is not a campaign. I also would have preferred the Basic Flip Mat over the Woodlands. I can understand why Woodlands is supplied as it links to the module but the Basic map has far more uses. Throw in a marker pen and it is a winner.

I hope that Paizo come up with a Treasure Chest 2 set rather than rereleasing Treasure Chest. Regardless of what happens, I hope they address the short comings in this first chest. I would recommend this product to you.

If you are a beginning Pathfinder DM, buy this now! It has everything you need for running a fantastic adventure right out of the box, while giving you enough added value to keep adventuring just using what else is in the box. This is a treasure that keeps on giving. Highly recommended!!!

I can't believe they still had copies at this point. I bought one even though I already had the module (It's inexpensive enough that I still saved about $10) and was amazed. I've never really bought many of the GameMastery products, but I think after this, I'll be a returning customer.

I was interested in the crit deck, campaign workbook, Map Pack Inns and have a look at the other bits. Very pleased. What do you get?

A good sturdy box, lovely artwork (yer Goblins are great!). Nice adventure - I wanted to check the quality - top drawer. Map Pack is up to the standards of the ones I have already. The workbook is gonna be useful to me. The quality and art of the two decks is nice. I really like the flip mat, didn't realise that they were laminated. A great not so little package

I am completely shocked that there are any of these left. I am extremely impressed with my Treasure Chest. The module is great and all the extras that work with it and how they work with it blew me away. You can buy this product and part it out as well. The best part is the map, a road. How many thousands of characters have been ambushed while walking down a road, genius.
