Enter the Iron Kingdoms
Embark upon a journey into the realm of Full Metal Fantasy, a land where battle-hardened characters gird themselves in scarred mail and metal and take up their saw-toothed blades and smoking forgelock pistols, where steamjacks belch ash and steam upon the battlefields and the cobbled streets of cities and strongholds, and where steam power is fused with arcane might.
This is the official IRON KINGDOMS Character Guide: Full Metal Fantasy, Volume One.
The information in these very pages contains:
New and exciting character classes and prestige classes
Heaps of new skills, feats, spells, weapons, and gear
Expansive details on magic and the intricacies of mechanika
Twelve major human ethnic groups of western Immoren
Details on the various races: Elves, dwarves, goblins, ogrun, trollkin, and more!
The essentials on cosmology and religion

I own both the hard copy and the PDF of this wonderful book. The setting is one of the most detailed and flavorful settings I have ever ran across...its original as well - not your standard steampunk setting by any stretch of the imagination! NOTE! You'll need either the D&D core books (PHB & DMG) or the Pathfinder core book as well to make full use of this book.
Far and away the best steampunk material released for 3.5. The price is high but it might be worth if you are truly interested. If you are into fantasy steampunk it is definitely something to look at. Both the Character Guide and the World Guide clock in at about 400 pages.
My old battered copy of the IKCG is slowly giving up the ghost. Good on Privateer to finally get us the PDFs. Even better that it's available from Paizo.
That was the only word I could think of to describe my initial impression of this masterpiece. This is steampunk fantasy at it's finest right here. Giant warmachines, guns, sorcery, infernal powers, and a drastic new spin on classic fantasy races combine into an amazing new campaign setting for d20 fantasy gamers everywhere!
The setting is gritty. Very gritty. Necromancy hurts people who cast it, the gods frown on frequent use of healing spells (and punish those who rely too heavily on it), resurrection is almost impossible, and magic interacts with the world in whole new ways. Forget everything you know about D&D's cosmology because the war-torn lands of Western Immoren are like nothing you've ever seen before.
I would give this product 10 stars if I could. It is simply amazing.
