Fortune's Fool is an innovative role-playing game that uses Tarot cards instead of dice. Set in a fantastic version of Renaissance Europe, you will play as men, elves, dwarves, goblins, and more as you adventure from the courts of Paris to the canals of Venice.

Using the new Fate Twist system, you can directly alter the course of battles, social interactions, and magic spells by manipulating the Tarot deck itself.

Fantastic System - Unique and Fun

Tried this at a convention last weekend and fell in love with it. The system is very well balanced, and the tarot mechanic isn't just a gimmick. It feels very different than using dice. Manipulating the deck becomes part of the party's strategy. It's subtle but rewarding, and despite getting my character's head blown off with a blunderbuss, I had a fantastic time. Look forward to playing more of this.

Great Concept, Wonderful Mechanic

I'm a fan of the Renaissance, somewhat new to role-playing, but found the Tarot card mechanic compelling. The use of the deck creates a mystical and historical tone for adventuring. Easy and fun to create a character. Inventive and enjoyable. Can't wait to see where this goes!

Fortune's Fool

I love the concept. Playing with Tarot cards is such a rich experience. I bought the book instead of the pdf and I'm very glad of it; the artwork is beautiful. I'm still exploring the game mechanics but so far it is well worth the time it takes to master the game.
