Quirin Mythology #2: A Handful of Artifacts (OGL) PDF

A Handful of Artifacts is a short treasure accessory for epic play, containing five new major artifacts. Each is fully described, has a portrait, a research section, and several adventure ideas for use.
The Handful of Artifacts:
- the Grail of Belief, which can impart and strip divinity (CL 154th)
- the Observer, which conjures creatures for study (CL 81st)
- the Paragon Crown, which transforms any wearer into a perfect specimen (CL 105th)
- the Schattentaeter, which creates an insubstantial assassin (CL 21st)
- the Throne of Awust Raldig, which converts magic into unlimited personal power (CL 25th)
Additional Features:
- A new armor and shield special ability: proficient
- A new magic item: major ring of counterspells
- A new epic magic item: epic ioun stones
- Two new minor artifacts: the cyl manual and the lesser schattentaeter
- A new spell: greater rusting grasp
- A new monster: the Cyl (CR 19) and the Cyl as a construct mount (CR 40)
- A new template: the schattentaeter, an incorporeal undead assassin (CR +7, LA +14)
- Two black-and-white monster portraits
- A color monster portrait
- Four black-and-white item pictures
- Two color item pictures
