    Generic Universe Publishing (GU) is offering this special compilation of City Streets offerings during the first half of 2009. In addition to the following taverns, this compilation includes a tiny dive known as “The Gorgon’s Breath.”

    • “The Black Ape”: Serving sailors and travelers of all types, this dockside tavern’s exotic cuisine and interesting reputation are sure to attract an adventurer’s attention
    • “Brandy’s by the Bay”: Need a drink after that long trip into port? Brandy’s by the Bay has drinks to serve before you even leave the docks!
    • “The Green Dragon”: With a menu of spicy stew and ale, a reputation for cleanliness, and regular entertainment, The Green Dragon is the tavern of choice for travelers and citizens alike.
    • “The Mug and Bottle”: Whatever vice your PCs—or the criminals they seek—might have, The Mug and Bottle is happy to serve their dark desires.
    • “The White Tankard”: Serving dregs to the dregs of the city, the White Tankard sells the cheapest ale and food in the city. Meeting place for criminals of all types and solace for the downtrodden, the White Tankard crouches in the poorest part of town.

    City Streets

    Has dungeon work worn your adventurers down? Are they searching for something new and different? Need a place to get rid of their newfound wealth? Maybe it is time to hit the streets!

    City Streets products provide heavily detailed city locations designed for enjoyable role-playing encounters while also including enough adventure hooks to encourage the characters to head back into danger. Whether it is a tavern, shop, guild house, noble's manor, or massage parlor, each of these locations contains detailed information about the building, business, and the NPCs living or working there. NPC descriptions are detailed but contain no statistical information making them useful with any game system.

    Generic Universe Publishing (GU) is dedicated to providing inexpensive, simple game supplements to meet your fantasy role-playing needs. Most of our products use simple black-and-white art and hand-drawn maps as a tribute to the earliest RPGs. Learn more about GU at our website.

    Just wondering about the price discrepancy. The list price is listed at 0.99 and the sale price at 7.19

    Does this mean that it's more expensive when its on sale?

    Yep, looks like an 8.99 with a line through it in my browser also. And that is the normal MSRP.

    $8.99. The 20% discount makes it $7.19.

    Plus they are well worth it, IMO. If your looking for inspiration to do tings differently than you always do things, get these. Fresh ideas from someone elses mind only gives variety to how you do things in your own game.

    Plus these are rules generic, so its all about the flavor, not the mechanics. You want to add crunch, copy/paste class abilities from one of your other PDF's.
