This book contains vocabulary, grammar, and orthography for all of the languages of the world of the Fifth Hour, ranging from the Old Tongue now discarded to all the modern languages of the current day. Includes name generation rules for characters (which officially replace those in the Fifth Hour modern names book.)

Rules are included for High Speech (formal) and Low Speech (colloquial.) The concept of Beautiful Words (printed words used solely for beauty) is also introduced.

All in all, 22 languages (plus the Old Tongue) are covered in groups of three major language families, with two languages not belonging to any family.
