0one's Colorprints #2: Riverside Inn PDF
0one Games
The Riverside Inn lies almost hidden in a crouching bend of the Great River. It’s a three-story building made of river stones and sturdy oak. During the day casual passengers on riverboats may not even notice it, but, during the night, the inn’s lights are clearly visible from the river as well as from the land. Strategically placed halfway between two important cities, the Riverside Inn is the must-stop of all the cargo ships sailing on the Great River. Many captains choose to make a stop at the inn to drink its famous stout beer and taste its delicious sandwiches stuffed with salted butter and salmon, and many captains and crews know about the hidden activity of the inn: a gambling house. Hidden behind secret doors located in the huge inn’s cellar lie two gambling rooms where games are played all night long...

The Colorprints product line offers you full-color fantasy maps for use in your adventures and campaigns. You get a color version and a grayscale version of each map. The maps are of high resolution, allowing you to obtain great print quality. Each map offers you a degree of customization, using pdf technology at its best. A button (which will not be printed) on each map allows you to turn the grid on and off, eliminate room numbers, fill in the walls, hide doors and furniture, and many other options, depending on the map.
Each product features a classic fantasy adventure location: a dungeon, a keep, a temple complex, a thieves guild and so on. You can use these maps as reference to build your own adventures, or simply keep them handy in case your players go in an unexpected direction during the campaign.
While offering you the best quality, these products are really inexpensive.

All right, who has never used an inn as an adventure location? They are so useful, whether as somewhere for characters to meet or get hired, somewhere to stop of at while travelling from one place to another or as the focus of an event or even a whole series of them.
This is a fine inn with plenty to gain your interest. Located on a busy river (up to you, as long as there's a navigable river somewhere in your campaign world), it can be the break in a journey or scene for something more. As well as food, drink and lodging, this inn has a hidden offering - gambling. For whatever reason - up to you to choose why - the gaming areas are kept secret, the first challenge for your characters may simply be to gain access...
The actual mapset combines the best of 0one's Blueprints and Battlemaps, being beautiful to look at and capable of a fair degree of modification depending on your needs. Both full colour and greyscale versions are provided, along with notes pages to record additional details. The maps include the ground floor, 2 upper floors and the cellars.
The whole thing is ready to use, all you need to decide is who is there and what is going on. See you there, mine's a pint!"
