0one's Blueprints: Citadel PDF
0one Games
Welcome to your favorite base of operations: the Citadel. This small citadel is a perfect headquarters for your party; also, within its walls, it may offer many opportunities to adventures who take home here.
The citadel flanks a river (or sea) and features a small port. Two gates lead the travelers into the walls of the citadel. Inside the citadel, you can found everything a small community needs: stables, forges, inns, a large temple area, a lord's house, gardens, wells and more.
The citadel could be the keep of a larger city surrounding it or simply a small town, perhaps an extension of the lord's keep. The citadel features two levels (ground level and first level) and a roof level is also provided. Below the ground level, you can found a cavern complex that links with the manor's dungeons and a small sewer system.
Please note the citadel is very large so the grid square should measure 20 feet.
Some hints to use the Citadel follow:
- Upon the party arrival at the citadel some mysterious murders begin to happen. One of the PCs was spotted on the murder place and the entire party is caged in the dungeon. The PCs must escape and found the true assassin to prove their innocence.
- A gang of smugglers use the caverns north of the citadel as base for their illegal activities. The lord is too weak to fight them and asks the party to deal with the bandits.
- A band of thieves visit regularly all the rich merchant's houses, leaving no traces or signs. The merchants offer a reward to the group who will capture the thieves and retrieve their wealth.
- During the night Kuo-Toas emerge from the murky river water; they seek something in the temple of the citadel, something was stolen from them centuries ago. The local cleric hides a terrible secret linked to this item. The party is hired to protect the item.
The Blueprints product line offers you old-fashioned blueprint-style maps for your adventures and campaigns. Each map includes a blueprint version and a standard black-and-white version. The maps are all vector-based for maximum print resolution. Despite their old-fashioned appearance, each map offers a degree of customization by taking full advantage of pdf technology. A small control bar (which will not be printed) on each map allows you to turn the grid on and off, eliminate the room numbers, fill the walls, or hide doors and furniture.
Each product features a classic fantasy adventure location: a dungeon, a keep, a temple complex, a thieves' guild and so on. You can use these maps as reference to build your own adventures or simply have them at hand in case your players go in an unexpected direction during the campaign.
While offering you the best quality, these products are really inexpensive.

What are the software requirements for this. Will Acrobat reader do the job, or would I have to spring for full-functioned Acrobat?

IIRC, all the 0one PDFs just require Acrobat Reader.

Yes, the free Adobe Reader is all you need—but make sure you have the latest version. You'll be much happier.

I just recently purchased this and the level/map portion is blank. This makes it rather difficult given there are hundreds of rooms. Has anyone else experienced this?

You're the first to report this, and we've been selling it for months. Are you using the latest version of your PDF reader?
