Your minis deserve someplace cool to play!

Dungeon Life: Bendy Dungeon Walls offer an excellent solution to the age-old problem of the 3D dungeon. Durable interlocking wall segments quickly snap together to form chains of dungeon wall. Simply place a length of walls onto the game mat, and bend it into the shape of your dungeon room. Snap it apart to add doors, and just like that, you're done! It's easy, convenient, adds the cool 3D factor to your game, and most importantly, it's fast!

The secret is the power of HINGINESS. Each one-inch piece of dungeon wall is attached to the next with a simple hinge mechanism that allows you to place a section of dungeon walls, and then bend it into the shape you desire on your battlefield. You can set up elaborate rooms quickly and easily, giving your miniatures an environment to roam around in that truly evokes the feel of the dungeon delve.

Build just the dungeon areas you need, as you need them—during play! No need to spend lots of extra prep time setting up the dungeon, and the players don't get to peek ahead. It's easy to recycle, too—just pick up the pieces of the rooms you're done with, and use them to build the next room—it's the ultimate scrolling 3D dungeon!

The adventure never ends with Bendy Dungeon Walls... It's a Dungeon Life!

One set contains 50 wall pieces and 5 doors.

Usually ships from our warehouse in 5 to 11 business days

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Bendy Walls work well once they are cleaned up
Reviewer: Mistwalker

The wall pieces are hard plastic that need a bit of work to clean before they bend freely.

I had to trim the flash from around the joint areas (both the hinge-clips and hinge-posts. The hinge-posts are key as a small bit of flash there can impede the easy bending of the wall.

I bought the GenCon special (two boxes, 2 sets of magnetic base kits, magnetic matte) and am quite pleased.

I did have a total of four wall pieces that came with broken hinges. Now they are the end pieces for the walls, with the hinges cut off, so no real loss or problem.

Reviewer: Dom C

Being a big fan of scenery and miniature use, I was very happy to find this product in my FLGS. Within five minutes of opening the box, I was hugely disappointed.

Each piece is brittle, super-cheap plastic. We're talking dollar store plastic, here. I can appreciate that they are probably trying to show proof of concept in design of a niche product, so it is very cost sensitive. However, one of the major characteristics of this type of plastic is that it is very brittle and weak. This showed up in trying to join more than two pieces together.

Gently bending any wall, or even the act of joining them, tended to snap at least one of the hinges right off. Some of them were already broken, straight out of the box! Trimming the flash did little to save the small clips. In the end, you may get one or two uses out of them before none of the parts hold together any longer.

With petroleum prices they way they are, I find it hard to believe that they will be able to afford better plastic or even a more rubberized approach. As it stands now they are not worth 2.49, much less 22.49.

It’s a great concept with horrible execution. Unfortunately, that's a deal breaker.

Reviewer: The Black Bard

The previous reviewer is right in that the plastic is moderately brittle and the hinges can be stressed by use.

HOWEVER!!!

Many of the peices are what I call "unfinished" in that they have not had the flash from the molding process trimmed away. For each box, with about 15 minutes of work and an exacto-knife you can easily trim out the flash from the hinge-clamps and hinge-sockets, as well as occasionally from the bases and side edges.

If I hadn't done this, I probably would have had a similar experience to the previous reviewer. As it is, I only had one hinge break, and that was the one that made me think of doing this!

Now, they operate exceptionally well, and I am more than pleased with them! Because there is work required to make them truly functional, I give 4 stars, but this really is a 5 star product once you do the work. Just remember to trim the flash, and you will be having 3d dungeon fun like never before!

Reviewer: Sean Robson

I just tried my bendy dungeon walls for the 1st time last night. I was disappointed to find that while the walls look great they are made of cheap, brittle plastic that breaks easily. The hinges of about half a dozen wall pieces broke off the first time I tried to connect them. Bending the walls at the hinge joint causes a lot of stress and also results in frequent breakage. If breakage continues at this rate, in a few more sessions the entire set will be useless.
This product was a great idea badly executed. If the walls were constructed of more durable plastic that could stand up to use it would be a fantastic game aid, but at present I cannot recommend it to others.

The collective sigh of relief was heard all 'round the RPG community. We can send a robot to mars, but it took until now to make bendy walls. Spoiler: I bought 3 sets as well, but I went to the Dark Platypus website which offered a bulk discount. If you only want one set, then buy it here.

Along with my colour laser printer/scanner/copier, I consider these the best investment I've made as a DM within the last couple of years. I've had these for over a year (since GenCon '06) and recommend them to any DM who thinks that Dwarven Forge, while great, is a bit of a hassle to set up. I would also suggest getting 3-4 boxes since 500 ft. (2 boxes) doesn't always allow you to set up a combat in a large chamber. Also, these walls shouldn't be used in a windy environment like the outdoors, since they're likely to tip over.

Dungeon Life: Bendy Dungeon Walls
Tyrskald,

Hey Gamers!

I have to say I am SO excited about this product-- as a DM for many years, I have wanted to have a way of illustrating rooms for my players-WITHOUT taking tons of time doing so. I have used Dwarven Forge before for this purpose, and I really enjoy the Dwarven Forge line of similar (and much more detailed) products, but they are, as you know if you have purchased any, cost prohibitive if I want to build dungeon space of any size.

I just ordered three sets of the Dungeon Life: Bendy Dungeon Walls, and look forward greatly to trying them out the first session I run with them. I will post my experiences once I've tried 'em out a couple times.

I would like to ask of the Paizo folks, whether they know if other sets of these bendy walls are in the works? I'd like to see a cavern wall, masonry wall, and other versions of this product. Any clues Paizo People?

Yours in gaming,
Tyrskald

They're apparently considering Bendy Sci-Fi Walls, Bendy Town Walls, and Bendy Cavern Walls.

Hmm, these might work really well with WotC's Dungeon Tiles.

Out of Stock? Already? I am glad I ordered three sets, but I plan on ordering more. Will they be restocked?

I would buy these also. Well at least the Town & Cavern Walls
