A D&D adventure for 24th-level characters.
In this adventure, demonic forces plot to usurp the Raven Queen's power over death, and all paths lead to an ancient kingdom hidden in the subterranean depths of the Shadowfell.
This adventure can be run as a stand-alone adventure or as Part Two of a three-part series of adventures that spans the epic tier of gameplay. The adventure begins in E1—Death's Reach and concludes in E3—Prince of Undeath.

Wow, this looks sweet. Too bad it's 4E though, or I'd be buying it. Still, for those who play 4E, I'm a little jealous.

Well, while I like 4e, I'm not bowled over by WotC's adventures. They read quite badly because of the delve format (though they play quite easily as a result, conversely) and while they have some nice touches they really boil down to a lot of combat encounters and a few skill check encounters, without much over-arching narrative. So it could well be a blast to play, but a relatively unfulfilling read. Had it been done by Paizo, on the other hand....

No thanks. Not interested in all this "reinventing". Dungeon #70 and some imagination will do just fine.

Wish I'd gotten Empire of the Ghouls from open design though.

I really am interested in how they tackled this "classic" adventure/setting.
Bruce Cordell can do flavor and the Original is already jam packed with flavor goodness.
I am even more interested in how this comapres to Wolfgang Baurs' Open Design project: Empire of Ghouls (which I have, lucky me!).
So even though I am stricly player in 4th, i will most probably buy it (but will wait for a few reviews beforehand).
