I picked this book up on discount sale a few years back and I've used it a fair number of times in my 3.5 games. The book provides some basic stat blocks for common humanoid enemies seen in D&D (like town guardsmen, thieves guild members, etc.). Its a great tool for when you want to add some mechanical spice to your nameless NPCs but don't really want to use the NPC classes (how boring!) or take the time to stat up a level 4 rogue yourself (time is money after all).

It's definitely not a *must have* (especially now that 4E has been released) but if you have some extra cash that's burning a hole in your pocket...
