Celebrate the return of Drizzt Do'Urden!

Some legends are born out of darkness. Drizzt Do'Urden grew up in the underground city of Menzoberranzan, home of the drow—a race of twisted, evil dark elves. However, Drizzt was unlike other drow. He fled the Underdark for the surface realm, where he befriended the human barbarian Wulfgar. Together they battled the most terrible threat ever to ravage Icewind Dale: the white dragon Icingdeath!

2008 marks the 20th anniversary of Drizzt, appearing in R.A. Salvatore's The Crystal Shard. This product kicks off the celebration for Drizzt, and contains:

3 figures: Drizzt Do'Urden (in new pose), Wulfgar, and Icingdeath the Gargantuan White Dragon—in scale with other Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Game collectable figures (prepainted, fully assembled, durable plastic).
1 fold-out, illustrated battle map.
5 full-color game stat cards, including epic stat cards for Drizzt Do'Urden and Wulfgar.
A booklet containing a scenario that rekindles the classic battle between Drizzt, Wulfgar,and Icingdeath, as well as an exclusive excerpt from R.A. Salvatore's newest Drizzt novel, The Orc King.

Cleaning house with Icingdeath

The product is definitely well put together- Icingdeath is by far the best miniature in the pack, with Drizzt and Wulfgar leaving much to be desired in the quality of the sculpt and paint.

Otherwise, Icingdeath is exceedingly hard to defeat- three attacks per round, each dealing out a minimum of 20 points- one has to play incredibly smart, even with the Epic stats on Drizzt and Wulfgar, to defeat, or even come close, to defeating Icingdeath.

Anyone have any strategies?

Those of you that have bought D&D Icons before know the drill. Get a beautiful pre-painted durable dragon, a scenario booklet, some nice maps and cards etc.. Nothing different here except that you get DRIZZT and WULFGAR with it!!! The Wulfgar is the same mini that is coming with Night Below right now, except it's painted differently (White) and says "Limited Edition" on the bottm. The scenario book is well-written with some optional scenarios. Iceingdeath itself is awesome. Well done art and detail for this dragon right down to it's eyes. I can recommend this set to anyone who loves Forgotten Realms and this fabled story. Here's your chance to recreate the battle in Ingeloakastimizilian's lair. I wish they would throw in a miniature of the dragon's "treasure" though..
