In 2001 a group of hardcore gamers and veteran game developers formed Tenacious Games Inc. and set out to create the ultimate Tournament Card Game. We brought in top-level players, and game designers. We built the best game we could build. Then we tested it. And tested it. And tested it. Five years later, we think we've achieved it. The Spoils is everything we love about TCGs and organized play. It's the game we always wished we had.
Play as the leader of your own faction, drawing on the abilities, powers, skills, and treachery of five of the major trades of the world of the Spoils: the Bankers, the Gearsmith, the Arcanists, the Rogues, and the Warlords. Thwart your opponent's nefarious schemes so that your own questionable machinations succeed. Each 13-card pack contains a random distribution of characters, tactics, gear items and locations with one rare, three uncommon, and nine common cards to build your collection and construct superior tournament decks.
The Spoils is designed to be great for drafting and sealed-deck play. 2 Booster Pack displays provide enough for an 8-player draft. A competition pack and 2 boosters is perfect for sealed-deck play.
Each Competition Pack contains 1 Tournament Faction card, 30 resources (6 of each type) and a random assortment of 3 rare, 9 uncommon, and 25 common cards; plus 1 foil card (common, uncommon or rare).
