Texas-born, Henslee started out creating portraits of Native American and wildlife scenes. It's when he got to Las Vegas that he started to illustrate that OTHER wildlife of nightclubs and showgirls! Then, not surprisingly, his reputation was really made!
An artist of multiple disciplines, this book focuses on his ability to create inspired illustrations of the female form. In his portraits, the pin-up standard is transcended, and there's a wonderful reality to his art. The girls are not so much idealized as lovingly appreciated, in all their winsome ways!
