I love crystals art, but I should of thought of two things. Number one the price point and number two well I ordered the minis for carrion king with this and that has a set of minis that I can use for the caravan so I do not know. I feel like I wasted money on this one, but still they luck really good. Crystals art just pops too me, I like the whimsical cartoon art. So I am not happy I bought this but I like the art so I can not bring it down on my own dumb ass choices.
If you are running the Legacy of Fire, buy this and print them off - they will save you a fortune, look great on the table, and are easy to construct! A great buy!
My only problem with this set is that the characters only have three fingers, but hey, at this price, these paper minis are saving me a lot of money!
This set is much better than the goblin set. The camel and goat are very nicely done. The majority of the minis are brightly inked and look pretty good.
Other writers have stated that it is cartoonish, and that is true, but I find it refreshing. I will be using these miniatures, but if you are some sort of a "mini-snob" who cannot mix affordable "pre-painted" paper minis with your other metallic figs then this may not be for you.
I like the idea of these minis, but when I went to Kinko's to print it, they at first refused because of the copyright stuff on the bottom. I then dug out the question in the faq that says you are allowed to print ONE copy of a Paizo pdf. So at this point, I have to either buy a printer or go to a variety of Kinko's to get multiple copies made. Or maybe Paizo really does only want me to print one sheet of the minis. It seems like it would be easy to put "permission granted to copy for personal use" on the bottom of the sheets along with the copyright information. Either way, I like the idea, but won't be buying any more because of that issue.
