Bumps in the Night is a collection of five new scenarios for the Call of Cthulhu Roleplaying Game. These scenarios break the mold in that the horrors the players face are not drawn from the Cthulhu Mythos of H.P. Lovecraft, but instead these terrors are drawn from folklore and mythology. Inside you will find vengeful revenants, hungry undead, Sumerian Demon-worshipping cults, malevolent mummies, and poltergeists haunting the body of a crippled girl!

Did Pagan solicit this as a Call of Cthulu product, or was this a store typo? It was sheer luck I stumbled across this!

I'm not clear on what you're asking. It's a CoC product, and it's in the same product numbering scheme as Pagan's other CoC products.

Pagan are a well-established company, who've been making CoC product for years, using both the traditional Lovecraft Mythos, and other sources, pulp and modern.

I subscribed to 'The Unspeakable Oath' magazine, back when it was an A5-size fanzine, which must have been mid-90s. Given the quality of that material, I'd give it a look.

PS: Vic, tell Erik that since he loves Virgil Finlay's work, he should check out one of Pagan's artists (I think it was Jesper Myfors?) who had a similar stipple technique. Don't know if he's still with them, but it gave their early work a nice 'Wierd Tales' vibe.

Store / By Company / P / Pagan Publishing / By Product Type / Roleplaying Games / Call of Cthulu

The game this product is for is Call of Cthulhu - with two aitches. It means that while the product came up in searches for Call of Cthulhu (props to whoever programmed a halfway decent search function in the store!), it was in a wonky place. NOT with other Call of Cthulhu products. It comes up under Call of Cthulhu brand, but NOT Games / Roleplaying Games / C / Call of Cthulhu

Goodman's "Age of Cthulhu" doesn't come up under either brand or game, and I don't know WHY I can't ever seem to find Otherworld Creation's Call of Cthulhu products without searching for the name of the books themselves.

I've fixed all of these things. Thanks!
