The Battlestar Galactica universe offers many gaming possibilities, from the crew of a war-weary military vessel, civilians struggling to survive in a rag-tag fleet, or guerilla fighters striking out against the Cylons on occupied worlds. The Battlestar Galactica Game Master's Screen is the perfect accessory to accompany the Battlestar Galactica Role Playing Game. Four panels provide everything you need to run the Cortex System game rules at a glance, with artwork featuring Galactica and a Cylon Basestar, and a poster map showing the full deckplans of Galactica itself.
Unlike some 'screen' products which give you extras like an adventure, this one is fairly basic - a nice image of a large ship, a medium-sized one and a flock of fighters in low orbit around a planet to keep the players amused, and a collection of charts on the other side as ready-reference for the GM. In four panels, the GM has access to weapons charts, a skills & specialities table, assorted tables for combat, movement and healing, and even the plot points & story impact table.
There are two sets of deck plans, though - one for the Galactica herself and one for a smaller ship of the Griffon X-7 class... possibly more likely to be assigned to a group of characters, unless of course you choose to play a bunch of Viper pilots.
Fine if you find GM Screens useful, but a touch thin for a fairly high pricetag as such accessories go.
