My goodness wisdom for stealth checks..
Please check your products for simple errors before publishing. This gives you a bad name..
:-(
It's a decent sheet, but no better than the free ones available online.
I compared this to a free one my son found. I found this very clear and easy to read (good for old folk like me) but there were things lacking... Aside from things that have been mentioned before (Two Feats sections, 1 ring section, etc), I found the sheet lacking in some little details that the free sheet had (although it was not as clear and easy to read).
1. In PFRPG we need a column for 'Trained' in skills. Also more that one 'Misc' column would be advantageous.
2. Armour class boxes - where is Dodge?
3. CMB/CMD - need a 'Misc' box. Where does a Monk's Wisdom modifier go?
Louis, I think if you fixed some of these little things as well as the obvious bloopers already mentioned, you would have a much better product.
I don't mind all the sheets - I just print out and use the ones appropriate for my class. You could skip the miniature counters as far as I am concerned - I don't want these when I am buying a character sheet (have enough real minis!) The conditions cards are handy.
The main character sheet is basically the free Paizo character sheet without the large black blocks for section titles, plus a big Louis Porter logo (that I could do without). Oddly, there are two sections labeled feats on the backside (probably a typo as the free sheet has special abilities in one of the places).
Inventory sheet is rather plain but functional. The Magic Item Location is included at the bottom of the sheet. Another silly mistake here 'circlet' is mispelled and if you have two finger slots why only one blank line for both? If my understanding is correct there should also two slots for head and headband; as well as body and chest as they are seperate slots in PFRPG.
Unless I am a supermunckin, I don't need a single sheet that covers every spellcasting class in the game. I will only use a small portion of that sheet at a time.
Campaign notes, events, and contacts/alliances are all on one sheet so likely you will have some filled up and others completely blank.
One useful additon not mentioned in the product info is a set of condition cards.
I also had to upgrade my Adobe Reader as it crashed when looking at the tokens.
Overall, I doubt I will be using it much and I'm sorry to say I can't really justify spending even 99 cents on it.
Admitted, it's only a dollar. But that doesn't make this a good character sheet. A meal for a dollar would be cheap too, but if you don't like it, it's still a bad meal. It's 19 pages, but 17 I don't need. It tries to be a character sheet for every class, but if you're a fighter you don't need a lot of spell pages. If you're a cleric, what you really need is a list of spells, not a list of blank lines to write spells on. And so on
In short, there are a lot of free character sheets out there that are better than this.
I bought it for the price and well, was a bit disappointed.
I don't need all these mini counters (6 sheets of those) and the rest is hard to scan.
...I'd get this in a heartbeat (at least until RPGXplorer finally gets the dataset). As it is I'll stick with the old Alpha PDF.
I wish I had that dollar back! Was thinking it had spell listings like the 35e sheets that Ema's but not so. Otherwise it looks to be just the same as the free sheet from Pazio with some unnecessary extras. Do not buy.
I read the reviews and nobody said whether it was fillable or not. So I bought it.
It is not fillable and does not do calculations which is what I want in a character sheet being I am lazy and do not like to redo my sheet everytime there is a change in my character.
So I am disappointed in the sheet. It is basically worthless to me and it will get buried on my hard drive in the dead sheet graveyard.
I was glad to see a product like this become available, and I hope to see a future version of this sheet some time later. It was functional and had quite a bit of features I was looking forward to, especially the notes sections such as campaign notes and session events.
The big problem is that the format of it doesn't lend well to use. The sheet is mostly crammed with white boxes with black outlines, and very little deviation from it to break up the data. It was too easy to loose your place when scanning it, and difficult to tell where the fields where and what they were.
Edit: An extra on this.
I used this sheet recently as a play I am a GM by nature but I had a chance to use a character.
There is a few things that is wrong like it's feats X2 not special abilities and feats.
But thats largely irrlevent.
What was, was it's useablility.
The magic item slot was really and I wish I had printed out the status cards so I could quick refence them rather than having the minute that it took everyone to find it.
It seems like a mcuh better sheet after using it.

I was gonna ask questions about it before I buy, but looking at that price, I think I'll just go ahead and pick it up for the heck of it. I can't imagine feeling it's gonna be a waste of a dollar :)

For 99 cents it is really hard to beat, so don't worry. I am sure you will find it worth it.

Oh my good damn! None too shabby! Even contains plenty of golem and undead counters for the ol' battle grid :-)

Can someone tell me more about the miniatures counters included? How many, are they the appropriate sizes, and most importantly, where does the art come from?
Thanks
