This is a good quality dice bag that warrants a 4 star rating. The stiching of the velvet and the satin is flawless and suggests that it will not fall apart easily. I like the two layer bag as there is absolutely no chance of items being left inside as the satin can be teased out of the velvet as it is only stiched at the rim. The two layers also provide a secondary barrier to hold dice in case the pouch is ripped or thread comes apart. This pouch is a pleasure to hold and touch as the felt feels like that of a new pool table but slippery as the satin in underneath.
There are a few issues that stop this product getting 5 stars. Firstly, its size. You can easily fit a 7 dice set in there and would be perfect if that is what you wanted. If you like a few extra dice like a 34mm d20 and a few more d6 then this bag is not quite right. It is a tight fit to add more dice. I would suggest changing the size to 4x4.5" or 4x5".
Finally, the draw strings. The picture does not show clearly but this product has two pieces of nylon cord that is tied loosely together. Considering the matierals used in the pouch this is a real disappointment and a let down. It does cheapen the bags appearance.
This is the dice bag for you if you want a small pouch that can hold small number of dice, like a 7 piece set. Because of its dual layer design, it also would be an excellent container for other gaming items.
I do reserve the right to change this review. I can not comment of the prolong use of the bag. This would entail how the bag reacts to travel (rubbing) and use. The bag does feel smooth and the satin colours are very vibrant - the pictures do not do it justice particularly the gold. I have purchased the red and gold version of this bag.
