This 54-card deck recreates historic 19th century playing cards of the Wild West, right down to the smudges and grime from long use gritty realism at its finest! This deck is a perfect companion to the Aces & Eights RPG, where you often use a deck of cards to determine random outcomes. Of course, whether you use this vintage deck for faro, poker, or any other game, you'll see that it offers a period feel no other playing cards can match!

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar A touch of flavour, but...
Reviewer: kessukoofah

these cards do add flavour to the game, and none of their advertising is false. they do show "grime" from being oft-used, however, that's possibly the only plus to these cards. The lack of rules included was a definate drawback since it was one reason i bought the deck, and for the price I was sort of expecting "more" then I got. and some of the cards (like the jack of diamonds) are hard to read in a fast game. So unless it is important to your game to get the exact "old west" feel of the cards, then save your money and get a deck for .50$ from a doller store, or these instead. Half the price and about the same feel.

FullStarFullStarFullStarFullStarFullStar Adds alot of flavor to the game!
Reviewer: ctbrandon

Picked up a set of these recently. The cards are high quality and durable. The look is excellent, and is very true to the style of playing cards from the old west. The cards are perfect for the RPG, but could also be used for other purposes, such as a Western Night Poker Tourney with your buddies. My only critique would be that I would have liked to see rules included in the card deck for Faro, Three Card, etc. for those unfamiliar with the games, who do not own the Aces and Eights RPG.
