new classes n Races n Magic! well worth the price. it's the BEST Egyptian themed setting yet! can be modified to PFRPG easily! and you should. If you love Knolls,Sphinxes and undead, this is for you!!! Horus demands it.........it's 3.5!
This setting, like the pyramids, holds up to the Test of Time!
If you get to play in only one off-beat and different setting in your life, try to make in Hamunaptra! It is a classic, with tons of lore, a flexible world, and a superb mix of Egyptian flavor!
I have actually been using it with the PFRPG rules, which takes a little bit of conversion, just like all the 3e stuff, but works out perfectly!
I highly recommend this product, and at it's current price, it's a STEAL!
I rarely give ANYTHING five stars, but this product is the real deal. The research was excellent (take it from a history major - me). Like many of us I have always been fascinated by the idea of adventuring in an Egyptian setting and this boxed set has it all: new classes, feats, spells, gods. All well balanced and is easily fittable into any gameworld. Three booklets and a map. Excellent art too! You won't be disappointed!
Perfect for someone who wants a real Egyptian world
Far better than Mulhorand in the Forgotten Realms, this translates D&D's stock figures into an Egyptian world that makes sense, is magical, and allows for immersive role-play that is flavorful and with enough mechanical difference that you know it isn't just medieval Europe with pyramids.
Best of all, several of the classes have been modified to make them more balanced and flavorful without taking you out of the game everyone knows and loves.
This is good stuff and now that it is on sale, well worth it.
The map could be better but it is nice and glossy and does help folks situate themselves in Egypt. This is a boxed set too, with three nice books for your use. Highly recommended.
