The realm of Kingsburg is under attack! Monstrous invaders are gathering at the borders, aiming to invade and plunder the realm! Your King has chosen you to take charge of a province on the border: you will manage your province and help defend the realm. To accomplish this task, you must influence the King's advisors and the royal family to obtain gold, wood, stone, and soldiers to expand and defend your lands. But you are not the only governor seeking the aid of the advisors!
The other players also seek to collect the best resources for their own territories. Can you outwit hem to get what you need?
Kingsburg is an exciting new game of skillful influence and manipulation. Roll the dice and choose your advisors carefully while building a thriving province to earn the king's favor and fight off the invading fiends!

The game plays well, is immensely popular in my boardgames club, and allows a wide variety of tactics to be successful.
The advisor mechanism is a unique idea and works well, while the catch-up mechanisms for the player with the lowest number of buildings ensures that no one is completely left behind.
The only thing I could say as a complaint is that bad dice rolls will really hurt you, especially later in the game, which has been mentioned to me several times.
