Overall the book is a good resource, however, it tends to simplify the realm maintenance too much for my taste. It does make up for this with detail to creating units and combat between the units. All in all, if you like running a realm this is not as detailed as say the old Birthright campaign from WoTC but for combat oriented minds this is a solid product.
