Strange Adventures in Infinite Space is a fast-playing adventure game from Cheapass Games and Digital Eel. It's got all the fun and excitement of a traditional exploration game, boiled down to the best twenty minutes.
Your strange adventure begins on the planet Hope, where you've been charged with the task of exploring the galaxy and returning with as much neat stuff as possible in just ten years. Unless you find a great star drive, that's usually not enough time to reach every star! You'll plan your route carefully, trade with friendly aliens when you can, and try not to get blown to dust by the miscellaneous bad guys you will inevitably encounter.
With a completely random galaxy every time, user-friendly controls, an amazing combat mode, and a great low price tag, Strange Adventures in Infinite Space is the ultimate Cheapass computer game. The Strange Adventures in Infinite Space CD-Rom includes a full version of the game, as well as free demo versions of Strange Adventures and Plasmaworm. The disk also contains 2 dozen screen shots from the Infinite Space universe, just in case you can't get enough space travel in the game itself.
Please note that this game is optimized for Windows 95 and 98. It may crash periodically on other systems.
For the OS X version of this software, check out Boiler Plate Special.
Minimum system requirements for PC:
Pentium II 350MHz (600MHz or better recommended)
32M RAM (64M or more recommended)
Windows 95/98 or ME
DirectX 6
DirectX compatible video card capable of 640x480 resolution
DirectX compatible sound card
16M of free hard drive space

Every sci/fi buff should own this game.
Even the demo version is infinitely replayable.
I played the demo over 100 times before I finally decided to buy the full version.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
