The end of an old tale and the beginning of a new one. This base set marks a unique moment in Legend of the Five Rings history, for the very nature of this new iteration will depend entirely on the actions of the players. Depending on the results of Gen Con Indy 2005, this set might tell the beginning of a hopeful new tale, Lotus Edition, as the Great Clans begin to explore new paths of enlightenment or it might tell a bleak and shadowed tale of a land where, for a time, there is no hope, no enlightenment at all the tale of the Dark Lotus Edition. The future is in the players' hands.
