I can remember when I first opened up the original AD&D Ravenloft module by Tracy and Laura Hickman—it was the kind of adventure I'd been waiting years for! The Castle Ravenloft Board Game weighs in with almost seven pounds of goodness, including 40 plastic heroes and monsters, 13 sheets of interlocking cardstock dungeon tiles, 200 Encounter and Treasure cards, a rulebook, a scenario book, and a 20-sided die. The figures are mostly unpainted versions of miniatures that have been released in the D&D miniatures line, but three of the five hero minis are unique to this board game.
