One Day a King Will Come and the Sword Will Rise Again!

Kingmaker CRPG Kickstarter Ending Soon!

The Kickstarter campaign for the Pathfinder: Kingmaker CRPG is ending soon!

Whether you're new to the Pathfinder universe or you're a seasoned veteran, Pathfinder: Kingmaker is the CRPG you've been waiting for. The game invites players to Golarion—a world rich with history, mystery, and conflict—and gives players the chance to claim part of this world as their own.

In the north lies the Stolen Lands, a region that has been contested territory for centuries. Hundreds of kingdoms have risen and fallen in these lands, and now it is time for you to make your mark—by building your own kingdom!

This Kickstarter campaign from Owlcat Games has reached its funding goal, and it is well on its way to reaching a stretch goal to add an additional story chapter, along with adding support for both Mac and Linux operating systems.

Two stretch goals have already been unlocked! The first adds camping, which allows players to set up a camp and select who will be standing watch—and warning you about incoming enemies. The second stretch goal unlocked the magus as a playable class that uses an array of destructive spells while using deadly blade skills.

The Pathfinder: Kingmaker Kickstarter ends on July 11th at 8:59 PM PDT.

As much as I want to back this, I cannot without 100% assurance of linux support. I hope the stretch goal is reached, but I have been burned too many times with other games that "stretched" for linux and never got support.

Can't wait! I've been excited for a NWN successor for the longest time. I hope there will be mod support as well, I wouldn't mind porting in some 3.5 classes like the Warlock.

Already backing! Wish they had something real for an add on that I could give more to the cause but alas, game it is :D Can. Not. Wait. for this one :D

I want to support this game but I have Macs. When it hits that 700K mark I'll support it but I'm not going to pledge to something that I wont be able to actually benefit from.

I support a computer-game by buying it once it's out.

You'd think Pathfinder is popular enough to be developed by a software company first and then getting paid for it.

I remember Pathfinder Online and hope this works out better.

Just to have details correct, the game itself was/is being made by a software company first. The kickstarter is just added content. Even if the kickstarter had failed to be funded, the game already was going to come out.

Its going to be awesome!!

Is the game still going to be made where we can only make one character (and thus have to rely on NPC's completely for our party makeup instead of making four PC's for ourselves)? I hope not.
