Glories of the Dawn!New Pathfinder Campaign Setting Released!Like a jewel glittering in an ancient crown, Qadira is a beautiful land of complexity with a vast history—but there is even more to this satrapy of the Padishah Empire of Kelesh than meets the eye. In Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Qadira, Jewel of the East, you'll find comprehensive information about the history of the mighty nation of Qadira, its people, their customs, and their faiths. How does gaining the favor an NPC who can provide your party with otherwise inaccessible supplies, contacts, and capital sound? Qadira, Jewel of the East includes a new patronage system, which centers on the relationship between a person who wields influence and a client who hopes to benefit by association. There are sections on securing a patron, benefits of patronage, gaining and losing clout, and much more. Also introduced are two new animals. The genie-touched horse, which can serve as a mount or animal companion, is a descendant of creatures from the Elemental Planes. The shissah, which can serve as an animal companion, is a horse that is smaller and may seem more delicate than most horses, but it can travel for weeks on minimal water rations, and survive on desert scrub if necessary.
