Nope. The PFS team will be following up on this after the show.

Lantern Lodge 5/5

How big are these? (I.E., are they Office Space "pieces of flair" sized, or more lapel pin-sized?)

A Grand Lodge pin will be an excellent fit on my 80's punk leather jacket. This pleases me.

Yea, but that just shows everybody that you weren't a strong enough trainer to get the 8th badge and take on the Elite 4. :P

Dear Paizo, please make an 8th pin for...reasons... >.>

Supposed to be some upcomming announcement about an in game effect, but its not a reroll..

Maybe a bonus to succeed on your faction card checks?

Yeah grand lodge pin and soverign court for me

Dark Archive 4/5

The pins look to be pretty decent quality. They each have double pins on the back and would be a good accessory for a lanyard or a collar.

I figured you'd get the 8th badge when you survive eyes of the ten ;)

This is the exact opposite of what I was told when I was encouraged by multiple Paizo staff members to purchase them today at the convention (I bought two specifically because these staff members told me they would grant rerolls). The staff members told me there was a post confirming the reroll and that it was approved by the head of PFS. I can't find any such post, just this one, so I'm a little confused. It would be great if you guys could clarify *before* the end of the con, since people may be buying these with the intention to use them this way.

Also curious about whether any bonus revolves around have the pin appropriate to the character you're playing...

(And before anyone says "buy them all", we're a family of six, each with multiple characters in multiple factions. I'm not purchasing 42 pins! :) )

3 of each should cover it, how often do more than 2 of you have the same faction at the same time?

I want a full set as well.

However a full set goes over the amount you can order taxfree.
Going to have to calculate at what point the transport costs will be cheapest compared to import tax.

We could do another "order a bunch of t-shirts together" run with the pins thrown in.

I came to a very nasty conclusion.

The pins are cheapest if ordered per 4 per shipping.

Calculation of shipping pins to the Netherlands:
Exchangerate of 1 euro per 0,90 dollar gives the following:
1 pin: 4,49 + shipping 2,74 = 7,23
2 pin: 8,98 + shipping 2,74 = 11,72
3 pin: 13,47 + shipping 2,74 = 16,21
4 pin: 17,96 + shipping 3.15 = 21,11
5 pin: 22,48 + shipping 3,15 + tax 5,38 + administrative costs 13,00 = 44,01
6 pin: 26,94 + shipping 3,15 + tax 6.32 + administrative costs 13,00 = 49,41
7 pin: 31,42 + shipping 3,15 + tax 7,26 + administrative costs 13,00 = 54,83
8 pin: 35,91 + shipping 3,55 + tax 8,29 + administrative costs 13,00 = 60,75 (42,22 if ordering per 4)
12 pin: 53,87 + shipping 4,57 + tax 12,27 + administrative costs 13,00 = 83,71 (63,33 if ordering per 4)
16 pin: 71,83 + shipping 4,98 + tax 16,13 + administrative costs 13,00 = 105,94 (84,44 if ordering per 4)
32 pin: 143,66 + shipping 8,31 + importcost: 6,08 + tax 33,19 + administrative costs 13,00 = 204,24 (168,88 if ordering per 4)

Orders with a combined cost of value + shipping of 22 or less have no tax or importcosts.
Orders with a combined costs of value of goods + shipping between 22 and 150 will get 21% tax over that amount.
Orders with a combined cost of value + shipping above 150 will get import costs added to it (for jewelry that's 0-4% based on an unknown rating for me, so I went with 4%) and 21% tax over the combined amount of import costs and the value of goods and shipping.
And the Dutch postal service will do the declaration for you, which they do for 13 euro added to the total.

I'm not sure how t-shirts will throw a wrench into those calculations :)

We apologize for any miscommunication that occurred between the PFS team and the Paizo staff. At this time, the faction pins do not grant a reroll. There is consideration being given to what reward, if any, the pins will provide but that may take some time to finalize because leadership is occupied with organizing the convention. Please stay tuned for any further details and again we apologize for any miscommunication.

I'm debating whether or not I should wait to buy these at GenCon, or order them now and have them for Origins.

I would like to extend an apology for this as well. The pins arrived just before PaizoCon, and there definitely was a miscommunication on their status. Our team hopes to have some information available to you as soon as possible.
