New Pathfinder Adventure Path releases!

Continue the adventure with "Dance of the Damned", the third installment of our Hell's Rebels Pathfinder Adventure Path!

Having successfully established a hideout in the city of Kintargo, the heroes of the growing rebellion are poised to take back the city. But before the Silver Ravens can strike against diabolic House Thrune, they must forge alliances with nearby tribes of aquatic elves and the free city of Vyre to cut off Cheliax's easy sea and land routes, forcing Lord-Mayor Barzillai Thrune to rely solely on his resources at hand to defend his control of Kintargo. Yet nothing is as simple as it seems, and the dangers awaiting the rebels are not always those that can be defeated with a spell or a sword. And, of course, Barzillai Thrune won't take these new developments lying down—what retribution might one of Cheliax's most dangerous inquisitors have in store for the Silver Ravens?

This volume of Pathfinder Adventure Path continues the Hell's Rebels Adventure Path and includes a Pathfinder adventure for 7th-level characters, a gazetteer of Vyre, the City of Masks, a look into the faith and worshipers of Mahathallah, a daring rescue attempt in the Pathfinder's Journal, and a menagerie of new monstrous threats to terrorize your players with.

Am I the only one who thinks Asmodeus is not going to be very happy when he finds out that the Lord of the Eighth and a Whore Queen have been screwing around with his's plans for Cheliax?

Unless of course Asmodeus expected his subordinate to do something like this or is even the actual mastermind behind the scenes of Barzillai Thrune's ascension. Even if the later is true, I can only wonder why he would invite open rebellion into Cheliax.

The archdevils bickering and fighting against each other is very much a D&D thing.

Pathfinder's archdevils, including Asmodeus and infernal dukes and whore queens, all work together, more or less, to make Hell hellish. Not only does this help separate our version of Hell from D&D's version, but also helps to make them feel more lawful.

I wasn't suggesting that the Archdevils (and every single other power of hell) bicker and fight (though I don't know if the Asura Ranas cooperate with the Devils that much) but I do believe they actively try and find subtle (but still perfectly lawful) ways to gain power over each other.

I guess I'm just surprised that Asmodeus would allow his forces to gain a foothold in Golarion's Inner Sea region only to then allow one of it's inquisitors to turn it into his eternal plaything. I can't understand how allowing Barzillai Thrune to turn all of Cheliax into a demented and sadistic pleasure spa is benefiting hell.

Why build a powerful nation devoted to you and everything you and your domain stands for only to let one of your mortal minions turn it into his own personal plaything?

Barzillai Thrune is NOT an Archdevil, and very much does have his own plan at hand.

But there is a reason why the archdevils are "allowing" this. I'm not gonna spoil it here though; it's covered more or less at the very end of the campaign though.
