This is great news.

I admit, I did a victory shot of whiskey with my handy PFS shot glass when I saw the subscription order email come through with the ship flip mat on it :)

Liberty's Edge

This is great. I was late enough to the party that I missed most of the Flip-Mats that are being reprinted here in their first run, so the chance to pick them up without paying secondary market prices is greatly appreciated.

Dark Archive

Just to be perfectly clear these are reprints and not new versions of old themes correct.

Sovereign Court

No Darklands map, which is used in like, every other scenario and the one I hear people lamenting about the most? Lame.

Grand Lodge

Having run or been in more than one scenario that used the ships flip map i am thrilled to be abple to pick that one up!

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

this is great, the re-branding it kind of funny, but I guess with the packaging format change you needed to make new packaging for the classics, so why not call out what they are. Now I have an excuse to go inventory my flip map collection again and see what I'm missing.

First question: Will these be at Gen Con (or at least the ones with release dates on or before) ?

And second question, is this something you will probably have for awhile, or will this be a very limited run/quantity?

I'm also disappointed that there's no Darklands map, but I'm hoping that Erik held a popular choice or two back for a second round of reprints.

We'll have the ones that have been released through July.

The whole thing is an experiment. We have no idea how fast they'll sell, or even if reprinting them *this time* was a good idea. Maybe they'll blow through the door and we'll look into making more ASAP. Maybe we'll sell through them in a a few months or a year and call it good. Maybe we'll be sitting on them for years to come. My best guess would be the second case is the most likely, but I'd say if you want 'em, come get 'em.

Any way for subscribers to get these without paying double for PDF and print versions?

I know this is experimental, but I love my PDFs :)

Edit: Yes, I know it isn't actually double, but it is close :)

Check out the product descriptions:

Quote:
Note: Flip-Mat Classics are not included in the Pathfinder Maps subscription, but Pathfinder Maps subscribers who preorder them will receive a free PDF version of Pathfinder Flip-Mat Classics: Ship when their subscription copy ships.

Just pre-order before the street date.

That text should probably say "physical copy" rather than "subscription copy" to be more clear.

Jeez, I even looked for that!

Thanks Joana!

Ok, thanks Vic.

I'll probably pick up the ones already released from Gen Con, and then preorder any other ones I want that come out afterwards.
