Thank you, Paizonians! And thank you, backers. This book is pretty much the dream I had at age 12, when I first decided to railroad my players by making them work for an archmage.
I'm still not sure it was *that* bad an idea for one session, but I confess that being assigned quests by an archmage every session might have gotten stale pretty fast.
Thank goodness they talked me out of it. Eventually. :)

I have been looking over the book. It is pretty cool. I was pleasantly surprised with many of the contents. As an example, Incantations are a cool way to add in the ritual magic to a campaign. It helps explain delvers into the Forbidden Lore without having to take a class in it. Ley lines are also well done. The book is jam-packed full of stuff that MUST become the standard "yes, this is allowed" in any Pathfinder campaign.

Lots to love in this book. A definite must-add to your Pathfinder collection so you can throw some new spells and magical traditions at your experienced players to get them out of the "been there, done that" mentality. Full disclosure, I contributed a small piece to the NPC spellcasters in the back of the book--namely, a half-elven, fire-wielding dragon-mage...a hivemind swarm capable of inhabiting other bodies with a penchant for sorcery and nature magic...and an alchemist who ruined half his body in an experiment, now turned half-cyborg technomancer. I had a lot of fun creating those concepts, but they're not half as cool as the other stuff appearing in Deep Magic.
Additionally, for those who don't know, Kobold Press is also involved in the Mythic Mania Kickstarter by Legendary Games wherein many of the Deep Magic spells and feats will receive mythic write-ups in the already-funded Mythic Spell Compendium. So, if you're interested in Deep Magic, you might also be interested in mythic Deep Magic.

One of my friends just saw the bit about the Mountain Druid and just squeed. Yes, he's been RPing one, now he has some more lore and some actual spells and such to continue. You just made a few players very happy in my little world.
Also...Fire!
Also, Also..Why did you link that KS Neil Spicer...you now owe me money.

Thanks for your support!
Also, there's a new review of the book at TrunkForce7. It's a complete review, but the summary is:
There’s so much well written inspiring material contained inside this hefty tome you will not be disappointed by picking yourself up a copy of Deep Magic. So, if you’re playing a spell caster, if you thinking about playing a spell caster, if you’re running a game currently, or if you’re even thinking about running a game in the future, pick yourself up a copy today. You will not be disappointed.
Deep Magic gets a full 5d20s on my inspiration scale. It’s fun, inspiring, and a good read.
