I just love some of the Doctor Who references alluded to by Paizo.

Could there perhaps be an evil being trapped in a prison in Osirion by an powerful energy emanating from a building on Akiton?

I was about to ask if you meant Aucturn, but I think you're referencing something.

Akiton=Mars in the Golarion setting.

Heh. Maybe some of the mummies in this AP will turn out to be Numerian gearsmen in disguise.

I love the Pyramids of Mars reference Matthew Pittard, what I loved more were the not so subtle Weeping Angel Gargoyles Paizo put into Classic Horrors Revisited.

Dark Archive

Yay Dr. Who!

Liberty's Edge

Im more a fan of Classic Who (although I dislike the word Classic in regards to it), and I was crossing my fingers that people got it.

Hopefully we get a Dr Solon or a Taren Kapel pop up

Pyramids of Mars, episode of the 4th Doctor. Sutekh turns out to be a nasty alien trapped by energy emanating from a pyramid on Mars by the Osirians, (an extinct alien race). He's true sealed evil in a can, as is first planned activity upon release is to set Earth's atmosphere on fire.

Liberty's Edge

One of the first episodes in which the doctor looks visible alarmed/scared (as much as Tom Baker could tbh)

Its also notable in an era (tv) where villains generally went over the top in terms of loud bombastic voices. The fact that Sutekh's voice was succinct and soft was very odd for the era.
