New Pathfinder Campaign Setting now available!

Got demons on your mind with the latest Pathfinder Adventure Path Then you're going to want our latest Pathfinder Campaign Setting release!

Towering balors, serpentine six-armed mariliths, wrathful vrocks, seductive succubi—these demons and more are the focus of Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Demons Revisited! Ten different demons have their habits, origins, and noted paragons examined and revealed for Game Masters to use in their adventures. Each writeup will speak of the origins of these creatures, whether from the hateful amalgamations of multiple wicked souls that create a balor, or the hubris-filled souls that create mariliths, how they can fit into your campaign, favored treasure, and even key items guaranteed to appease them when summoning their favor. Notable demons are also included, such as the vrolikai Azothinaktus, patient nalfeshnee Viggrizzur, or The Misbegotten Prince, bogeyman of Varisian fairy tales—all of these demons could be feature in an adventure, or indeed be the focus of an entire campaign! And if you can't get enough of the Abyssal hordes, don't miss Book of the Damned: Lords of Chaos to get all of your demonic needs for Wrath of the Righteous!

Ah! After reading so many low opinions on these forums (such as those in the "Erik Mona and Metal" thread) I was wondering if I was the only one who had ever liked "Load" and "Reload" at all.

Load and Reload were two of my favorite albums. I feel that they really exhibited the band's growth musically and showed that they were more than just a thrash metal band. Now mind you I still LOVE S&M and think it's probably my favorite of their albums. I gave St. Anger a shot, but it was such a disappointment that I stopped following them and stuck with everything pre St. Anger.

I like some stuff from Death Magnetic. Ironhorse does a good cover of Frantic. :-)

If you liked And Justice For All, I'd give Death Magnetic and Beyond Magnetic a chance. I quite liked Load and Reload as well, and St. Anger was a faltering step in their progression as musicians to put it nicely, but I feel they hit their stride again after that. Not counting Lulu, of course, avoid that one.

Death Magnetic is fantastic. Unforgiven III is great, and Suicide & Redemption is a great play back to their roots in including a long instrumental on an album again.
