New Pathfinder Comic now available!

When you find a dragon on the road, you can try to run—whether or not it helps is something that you're going to have to find out in the latest Pathfinder Comic!

In Pathfinder Comic #8, our intrepid adventurers are following the trail of one of the most terrifying foes anybody could encounter: a dragon! Following the creature to its lair might not be the wisest course of action, and when they don't get a nice cozy cave, but an ancient tomb, things start to get a little dicey. The tomb's inhabitants don't rest easy, either, and as our resident wizard Ezren points out, most of Varisia has been a grave at one point or another... Pathfinder Comic #8 also includes details on some of the more reknowned draconic denizens of Varisia—including a few that might be familiar to players of the Pathfinder Beginner Box!

OK, I enjoyed this comic but how did Ezren know to call the dragon "Black Fang"?

In issue #7 on page 10 Harsk finds a dark tooth and calls it a "black fang" while describing it. Ezren uses that term as a nickname for the dragon and it sticks.

In the Pathfinder Beginner Box (which is inspiration for this story arc of the comic) it actually says the following:

"Although no one has seen the killer directly, a long black fang was found in one of the animal corpses, prompting the locals to sub the unseen killer 'Black Fang.'"

Which is what happens in the comic. Ezren is just using the nickname they came up with (which is also why that name is in quotes). The actual dragon doesn't call itself Black Fang.

All clear?
