Gully Foyle is my name
And Terra is my nation
Deep space is my dwelling place
The stars my destinationI owe my username to Alfred Bester, that was the least I could do.
Ok so I'm not the only one to jaunt over to this thread because of the Bester reference. I'm not sure whether I feel relieved about that or more nerdy, but thank you Golem101. Thank you very much.

I will admit two things: I did indeed read 'The Stars My Destination', and I did enjoy Walter Koenig's Work as Alfred Bester on Babylon 5. Pity they didn't see the appeal in doing these Scifi's from the point of view of the bad guy. I think Osiris Chronicles would have lived had it been Named 'Warlord' and focused on the Rise of Warlord Shan.
Wow! It was called Warlord in the US version: The movie opens in the living room of a very luxurious house. A man named Heenoc Xian (John Pyper-Ferguson), is reading his book when his concentration suddenly drifts away and he reminisces about his life in chronological order, from being a pilot during his Academy years, to a freedom fighter, and to eventually, a warlord. He recalls the latter with irony as he narrates the tale of those particular events of his life...
I missed out; That wasn't on the Video of the Film Pilot released in Australia.
