In Pathfinder Player Companion: Blood of the Night, you'll get a glimpse at the variety of vampires that can be found in the Inner Sea—and beyond! From the origins of the progenitor strigoi, to the bestial nosfertau, seductive moroi, intellect-stealing vetala, and the breath-stealing jiang-shi, Blood of the Night gives you a glimpse into the unlife and habits of these creatures. Tips for playing one of these cursed creatures are also given, and new traits like Proud Progenitor and Telekinetic Dependence give a new dimension to these tried-and-true villains! But not every vampire is a villain—nor is every dhampir, the half-breed offspring of a mortal and one of these undead! As with Blood of Angels and Blood of Fiends, different dhampir heritages are provided, giving dhampirs variety with new traits and alternate spell-like abilities.
