Does "ends on August 13th" mean ends at midnight August 13th Pacific Coast time?
I didn't set the sale up, but my guess is that it very well might end at the end of August 13th. That is how I would have set it up if I had said it ends on August 13th. However, it could also mean at the end of the day on the 12th, but I find that more unlikely. Unfortunately, I have no way of checking from home and customer service won't be in until the 13th. So I would suggest that if you want to make a purchase, do it on the 12th just to be certain.

Is this type of sale an annual thing at Paizo or is it truly a 10th anniversary event?
It is truly a 10th anniversary event. I went a little nuts in lowering the prices to celebrate 10 years of Paizo. If there is a sale in the future, there is a good chance that prices won't be this low again. We usually do a Black Friday sale, and the prices in that sale can be pretty good. But I really wanted to make this sale special, so it will almost assuredly have the lowest prices of all sales. But who knows what will happen when we turn 20? :)

Lisa! Thanks for the quick response...and from home on a Saturday no less.
You certainly did do a good job lowering these prices :) I've been foaming at the mouth for a month, made a big order already, but am finding it difficult to get past some of the $5 & $8 APs and other specials. Awesome job! And thanks for the advice on ordering by the 12th.
For what it's worth, I've seen some strong evidence for sales like these really working for publisher and public alike. A while back I read an article about software distributer/producer STEAM. Here is one quick article about how the more massive the periodic cuts the bigger the profit...http://www.thedrmnews.com/games/lower-prices-increase-revenue/.
There are other articles out there (that I could not find at the moment) which showed increasing profits for STEAM at 25%, 50%, and 75% respectively. Anyway, I swear this is not a ploy to get you to cut prices again ;)
Thanks again for all your work on this sale. Take care.

With all due respect to Paizo Publishing, you may wish to mention that only SOME OF YOUR PDF'S are on sale. A great many Pathfinder RPG PDF's are NOT ON SALE (mostly your new ones which is kinda vexing to be perfectly honest). Lastly, your sale ends August 13th yet only 3 DAYS AFTERWARDS two more Pathfinder PDF's will be on sale (aka Paths of Prestige and Ultimate Equipment). If I may be so bold as to ask ask what led to the decision of not putting the PDF's of the new manuals on sale with the PDF's of the old ones and also why are you ending the sale before Paths of Prestige and Ultimate Equipment come out? It all seems a bit fishy to be perfectly blunt.

I bought so many modules... and with my purchase of the Serpent's Skull AP I now have almost every Paizo book.
This sale was a major help in getting my collection to near completion.
I'm now missing only 5 modules, Cities of Golarion, Seekers of Secrets, and Classic Treasures Revisited.
Anyone have a bookcase or display setup that they would recommend?

@Laschoni - I envy your collection! I've just started but have way more than I can read in the immediate future. Good problem to have :)
About the sale...it's nothing but good. Sure, not everything is for sale but that's okay. Sure, I spent money I had not planned on but eventually I would have purchased most of tonight's order anyway. I'm about to place an order I would not have made without the massive sale. Like Laschoni, many modules, $5.00 APs, etc. These prices all beat Amazon, too. Feeding the money directly to paizo is a bonus.
In terms of storage, it's always a challenge. I've started using file/magazine holders for the smaller books, the thinner soft-covers, that I don't put directly on the shelf. Mine look like the ones I linked to but are wider and half the price at *cough, cough* Walmart.
@Liz - Thanks for the confirmation on the end of the sale.

@FattyLumpkin I just started subbing last year. Before that I had been using Amazon and buying what I could. I got lucky and happened to have bought a couple books when they came out that are now hard to find. Cheliax player companion being a chief example.
A few months back I happened to see someone selling RotRL, CotCT, and Second Darkness on ebay. $60 (with folio and player's guide) is what I paid for each of them. I had been checking about once a week for months. (They also happened to be in perfect condition, even though I was about to buy the Anniversary Edition, I couldn't pass up the og Runelords for that cheap.)
Thanks for the tip on the file/magazine holders, I went ahead and ordered to see how I like it. I think this will work great for the flat soft covers.

I just want to thank Paizo for the sale.
I am pretty far behind in my collection. Getting the entire set of six Serpent's Skull books so cheap was great.
And because they are so inexpensive I puchased a few item card packs to check them out and I really like them....so now I want to collect the item cards. So the sale worked as far as sucking at least one person into wanting more of your stuff. :)
