New Pathfinder Campaign Setting now available!

Even the bugs are big in Magnimar, the subject of our latest Pathfinder Campaign Setting!

The second city that we introduced in the world of Golarion, Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Magnimar, City of Monuments covers that sprawling town built under the shadow of the Irespan, a crumbling testament of the long-dead Thassilonian empire. Here is where the dissatisfied expatriates of Korvosa decided to settle, and though they clashed with the Varisians that already lived there, Magnimar quickly rose to being one of the most powerful cities in Varisia. This gazetteer covers the nine different wards of this city, places like the affluent Alabaster District or the notorious Underbridge, each with their own movers and shakers, and monuments and secrets, such as the legendary Golemworks. Along the Dockway, you'll find a marketplace full of goods from all around the Inner Sea (or beyond) in the Bazaar of Sails, dive bars like the No-Horn, or abandoned ships being sold in the city Impound Yard.

One of the unique features of the City of Monuments is its ties to the empyreal lords, powerful beings on the side of good. Besides Arshea, Ragathiel, and Sinashakti, Magnimarians also pay homage to Ashava, Soralyon, and Ylimancha, and you'll find new information about these new lords (including their domains and favored weapon) in this book. But even under their watchful gaze or of constructs like the angelic guardian, not everything is safe in Magnimar. Ancient Thassilon once rested here, and not all of its relics are dead and buried. More mundane threats like the wicked poisons brewed by followers of Norgorber and well-organized thieves' guilds can also be found, but this book also provides numerous new creatures like the dread vydrarch and examples of more human opponents—like a Shoanti gladiator!

Holy Crap, Toth Bhreacher. Why doesn't this guy just take over the planet? He's a level 15 wizard, probably worth millions, with an army of golems and level 10 spellcasters at his disposal. And there he is, chilling in a small city, selling bodyguards to nobles. Weird.

The other high level wizard we've seen recently in this line is one level higher and lives in the freaking sun.

"Excuse me, sir. A Xeno-what?"
