Yes. These things are amazingly useful. We have an entire giant salad bowl worth of random chessex dice that we got years back along this same line and it's great for when one or two people forget their dice or a die is misbehaving. Of course... I love dice, so the more of them I have, the happier I feel. =P

There is no such thing as too many dice! There's a set for this system, another for this one, there's this set for character generation, there's the Pepto Bismo Pink set that always rolls crap for me and is the loaner set...
There's the caltr... d4 that's somehow ended up on the exact spot of the floor where you put down one of your feet as you get out of bed (and the spot where you put down the other foot has a piece of lego in it).
I mentioned this blog post to my wife, who then proceeded to place an order less than a minute later (and added the Jade Regent item cards that I'd been waffling on to make the shipping a bit more palatable). :-P
