Far from its ally Magnimar, Ravenmoor is content with their quiet rural lifestyle. Unremarkable because of its isolation and quaint habits, it would be completely forgotten if not for the fact that taxes haven't been collected in years. When the collector goes missing, the adventurers are hired to travel to Ravenmoor and find out his fate, but things are strange beyond the grip of civilization.
Outsiders are rare in this village, and the arrival of the PCs during the Founders' Festival causes an extra bit of commotion, and when a simple game turns ugly, things start to look very suspicious. Old secrets are flushed out from their dark hiding places, and what looked to be a rather simple investigation gets lethal, with unusual foes at every turn. Will the PCs survive the night to see the dawn, or will the secrets of Ravenmoor consume them?
