The Serpent's Skull Adventure Path reaches its penultimate volume!

Way back in Pathfinder Adventure Path #2, we introduced a Pathfinder named Eando Kline—an adventurer who embodies the soul of what the Pathfinder Society is all about. You followed our explorer through the next 17 installments of the Pathfinder's Journal as he narrowly survived a dangerous quest to learn the secrets of ioun stones and more. Now, after a two-year hiatus, Eando Kline is back—this time as part of the adventure—and his future is in the hands of your PCs.

All the danger of Saventh-Yhi, the jungle city lost from the modern age, pales before the terrors that lurk below its shattered streets. Beneath the ancient ruins rots a realm of darkness and monsters over which Saventh-Yhi long stood guard. Into the eternal night of that realm below the adventurers delve, coming face to face with the degenerate inheritors of a lost empire, fiend-worshiping denizens of the dark, and the zealots of a decapitated god, all in the hope of saving Eando Kline, one of the greatest explorers the world has ever known. But even if they can manage to free Eando, will the PCs be able to escape his captors, the fanged legions of the serpentfolk?

Pathfinder Adventure Path #41: The Thousand Fangs Below also includes a foray into the mysterious realm of Ilmurea, a ruined city of dark magic and deadly poison; a glimpse into the fractured mind of Nethys, god of magic; jungle justice in the Pathfinder’s Journal by Robin D. Laws; and four new monsters of the jungle.

If there are 5 red balls and 8 white balls in the bowl, what is the probability that the penultimate ball drawn is white?

This is the next to last book in this Adventure Path. Thats why it's penultimate.

I guess Paizo uses the p-word purposefully, as they enjoy the mad screams of Sebastian and Heathy.

The posters above you are referring to this near-legendary thread responding to our (completely correct) use of the word "penultimate" on the next-to-last print issue of Dragon magazine. (Warning: That thread will either amuse you or frustrate you to no end.)

I was going to bring that thread up, but it seems I was beaten to the punch!

I tried to read the first few posts of that thread, but then I had to stop why I noticed that my sanity was beginning to slip.

Ahhhh, the good ol' "balls in bowls" thread. I was just going to cite that thread when I saw the word "penultimate" on the front page. I should've known that someone (or multiple someones) would beat me to it.
